Stephanie Maxwell, Steward of the Brand

STEPHANIE MAXWELL, Steward of the Brand. Stephanie is the ultimate Southern lady. Growing up in Texas Country, Stephanie, was quite literally baptized with whiskey. So, it was a no-brainer when she joined the team and began preachn’ the good word of the pig to her fellow Texans.

After studying Marketing at Texas A&M, Stephanie entered the spirits industry, working at RNDC and then Goody Goody. Her bewitching personality, coupled with her fondness for whiskey and traveling, has paved the way for many exciting experiences – including a notable track record of successfully converting international UBER drivers to become distillers.

Stephanie is a huge fan of Mardi Gras and her dachshund, Max Maxwell, who she trained to hunt sharks.

OUR VISION - RESPECT TRADITION. EMBRACE PROGRESS. There’s a lot to learn from the past. But we believe the best era for Whiskey is in front of us. We are constantly pushing ourselves to try new things and to unlock the potential of Rye Whiskey. We protect what makes Rye Whiskey great, toss out the rest, and then innovate to make it better.

WhistlePig began when we purchased our farm in 2007. After a few years of deep consideration and personal reflection we committed ourselves to crafting the world’s finest and most interesting Rye Whiskeys. With help from Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, we discovered and purchased an incredible stock of 10 year old blending Whiskey in Canada that was being profoundly misused. That initial stock, for which we are forever grateful, is what kicked off our grand adventure.

Our commitment to authentic experience doesn’t end when the bottle is capped: while we are growing, harvesting, barreling, and bottling our favorite grain, the animals are also being fruitful and multiplying. Kunekune pigs, sheep, goats, bees and horses call our farm home. Not to mention the 20 acres of maple trees we tap for syrup. Embracing more than 500 acres, we think our farm is the perfect place to experiment and provides us with ample access to the highest quality ingredients.

FarmStock offered our next opportunity to master blending, finding a way to marry the untamed contours and boldness of our Estate Whiskey, which only youth can provide, with the richness and splendor of some of our special reserves.

Please note: To make dining room or club event reservations, you must be a Member of the City Club or be accompanied by a Member.

The Club’s Dress Code for members and their guests is Business Attire. During the evenings, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket in the Club’s dining areas (excluding bar area of Grill) and encouraged to wear a jacket in all other areas. The only permitted exceptions are when a different dress code is specified by Club management in connection with a scheduled Club event.
