A Baton Rouge Tradition
Established in 1957, the City Club of Baton Rouge has been downtown Baton Rouge’s premier private member club with a rich history and has enriched the lives of community leaders, business professionals, and families for over 60 years. The City Club is a Private Member Club, is owned by its members, governed by an elected Board of Governors, and managed by a professional staff who are charged with ensuring that the facility is operated in a manner that is consistent with the expectations of its membership. Our ongoing commitment is to enrich the professional and social lives of the GBR community, CCBR continues its mission and vision to provide our members, their families and guests with a private club experience that preserves our rich traditions while fostering camaraderie and lasting friendships in an welcoming environment in which our Members and their families can grow and flourish personally, professionally, and socially. Members may sponsor functions for social, business, professional and other organizations.
Weddings. Whether you are planning a wedding for 200+ guests or something more intimate, the event space at our historic downtown venue is flexible enough to meet your needs and expectations. We specialize in creating one-of-a-kind weddings and special events of all sizes and types that reflect your personal style and create memories to last a lifetime. Our skilled team customize the food, assist with décor, and amenities to create the unique experience you desire - right down to the last detail! We’ll customize a package that exceeds your expectations, fits within your budget, and creates lasting memories for you and your guests.
Corporate Events. We have several rooms available to accommodate different size groups, and our staff are on hand to make sure all participants have an excellent experience with our venue. Available year round, our meeting rooms are easily customized for business retreats, charity fundraisers, board meetings, strategy sessions, and team building events. If you’d like to gather multiple stakeholders to make an important decision, you can rely on our team to set the stage beautifully. Fresh coffee and tea will fuel your mornings and fresh treats will sweeten your afternoons. Our Event Planner, Natalie Graham will help to pre-plan the room layout, menu, and timing so that during the event all you have to worry about is getting down to business.
